DLearners Parent: An App for Early Identification of Learning Difficulties
DLearners Parent is a free Android app developed by Blink Foundation, aimed at identifying signs and symptoms of children at risk of developing learning difficulties like Dyslexia and Dysgraphia. The app offers a customized questionnaire for parents and an online test for children between the ages of 5-15.
The app provides a detailed analysis of key brain processing functions in different learning areas and recommendations outlining the steps to be taken to improve. It also offers recommendations on when further professional assessment is needed.
The app aims to bring children with Specific Learning Disability (SLD) one step closer to reaching their highest potential by encouraging early identification. The screening process takes betweenminutes and consists of three phases. The app also offers a quiz to understand the user's learning style and brain dominance.
